Supporting individuals and couples

to focus on

Building Better Relationships

How we relate to others affects every part of our lives, our workplaces, friendships, parenting, even how we feel about ourselves.

As a psychologist, I have a toolbox of approaches to help you make changes, what you will experience is someone who is professional, relatable, experienced and understanding.

At Jacqueline Ross Psychology I work with.

Individuals from 12 years

I work with people who feel something isn’t right and want that to change.

Sometimes we don't even notice when something isn't right.. but we notice we are sleeping less, drinking more, arguing with our partner or colleagues, withdrawing from friends and family....

Couples

Working with couples isn't the same as individual work but just with two of you in the room.

I am a Gottman informed couples therapist having completed Level 1 and 2 Gottman Method Couples therapy training, including working with infidelity.

Teens / Young Adults

I often say to the young people I work with "you couldn’t pay me to be an adolescent again" –

school pressure, friends, sexuality, managing everyone's expectations ..

Thriving at Work

I have experience in supporting people to maintain and return to work due to a mental health issue or poor mental health.

Professionals requiring Supervision

I am a board approved supervisor and have provided clinical supervision and training to many multi-disciplinary teams.

Complex Mental Health

For many years I worked with people living with complex mental health issues.  From this, I understand that often poor mental health can be accompanied by trauma, addictions, unemployment, isolation or poor physical health.

About me

Psychologist Melbourne Jacqueline Ross

If you have difficulties maintaining relationships, friendships or are having work difficulties, I have extensive experience in assisting people to understanding why you have these problems and what we can do to change it in a meaningful and lasting way.

You and I will work to establish healthy boundaries and coping skills so you can understand why these relationships are difficult and how to stop repeating history.

I won't fix you (because you need to do that) but we will work together to make these changes.
